What is a good Swiss Made watch in the price range of $500-$1,000?

I can’t seem to find any good watches in this price range. The good watch companies i’ve found online seem to be either less than 0, such as Citizen and Seiko or more than 00, such as Breitling, Omega, Tag Heuer. (I’m looking for a Men’s watch.)
I’ve never been a fan of tag. I know they’re really popular but they just don’t appeal to me. I really like Breitling but they are really expensive.
Wenger makes some really nice looking watches. I’m a little hesitant to get a Wenger because they are not as big as the other companies. But if they’re as good as you say, I might go check them out.
